Walmart has been lying about the “success” and growth of Walmart Health for over a year. Meanwhile, things were so bad that Walmart’s marketing folks were going door-to-door, begging seniors to switch to Walmart Health.
On April 30, 2024, Walmart Health announced that it is shutting down all 51 of its healthcare clinics. This means no more primary care, no specialty care, and no MeMD. Telehealth, pharmacy, and other healthcare services will now be managed exclusively through Epic. (Regular readers of my newsletter should not find this news surprising.)
